Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: 13 July 2026

1. Introduction

This Cancellation Policy explains when a delivery request or transaction may be cancelled, the responsibilities of Senders and Travelers, and how cancellations may affect refunds, payments, and Package Protection.

This Policy forms part of the Parcelra Terms of Service and applies to all transactions conducted through the Parcelra Platform.

2. Sender Cancellations

A Sender may cancel a delivery request before it has been accepted by a Traveler without penalty.

If a Sender cancels a transaction after it has been accepted, Parcelra may determine whether the Sender is eligible for a full refund, partial refund, or no refund, depending on the circumstances and the Refund Policy.

Repeated cancellations without a valid reason may result in account restrictions or other enforcement measures.

3. Traveler Cancellations

A Traveler may cancel an accepted delivery where there is a valid reason, including safety concerns, legal restrictions, inaccurate package information, or other circumstances beyond the Traveler's reasonable control.

Repeated cancellations without a valid reason may result in reduced account visibility, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.

Travelers should cancel as soon as they become aware that they cannot complete a delivery.

4. Parcelra-Initiated Cancellations

Parcelra reserves the right to cancel any transaction where reasonably necessary to:

Protect users.

Prevent fraud.

Comply with Applicable Law.

Enforce the Terms of Service or other Parcelra policies.

Respond to law enforcement or regulatory requests.

Address safety or security concerns.

Protect the integrity of the Platform.

Parcelra may cancel a transaction with or without prior notice where permitted by Applicable Law.

5. Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation of a transaction does not automatically entitle any user to a refund or compensation.

Refund eligibility shall be determined in accordance with the Parcelra Refund Policy, while compensation for lost or damaged packages shall be determined under the Parcelra Package Protection Policy.

Traveler payouts may be delayed or cancelled where a transaction is cancelled before successful completion.

6. Abuse of the Cancellation Process

Users must not repeatedly cancel transactions for improper purposes, manipulate bookings, create fake transactions, or otherwise misuse the cancellation process.

Parcelra may investigate suspected abuse and may issue warnings, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take any other action permitted under the Terms of Service.

7. Force Majeure

Neither the Sender, the Traveler, nor Parcelra shall be considered in breach of this Policy where a cancellation results from events beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, flight cancellations, government restrictions, public health emergencies, armed conflict, or other Force Majeure events.

Parcelra may take reasonable measures to protect users and facilitate alternative arrangements where possible.

8. Contact Information
